Just a few lines to say that my children, now aged 11, 8 and 7, have had quite a few swimming instructors but their absolute and all-time-favourite is André. He isn’t just a kind, patient and enthusiastic teacher, he is also great fun and has a natural ability to connect with children of all ages. Please don’t waste your time and money on swimming lesson with anyone else but André - he comes highly recommended and I can guarantee that your children will look forward to their lessons every week!

From no skills to certified swimmer
When my son came home from school and announced that he was the only one who couldn’t swim in his class, I knew I had to take action. After 2 years with André, he is now attempting his butterfly stroke after mastering front, breast and back strokes. He also obtained a stage 6 certificate. Conquering your fears
André is the best swim teacher you will ever be able to find. My daughter was in general quite shy and cautious when it comes to trying new things. We have tried a various of swimming lessons previously, but none of these have worked. Those instructors are of course qualified, but do not appear to be interested in connecting with the children especially for those who are a bit cautious with the new experience. When my friend recommended him, I thought I would give it one last try. I am so glad I made such decision, most importantly, we were so lucky to have André as the swimming teacher. André is not only extremely professional, but also (in particular) extremely patient and caring for the children he teaches. Because he has two young children himself, he truly understand how they thinks. He knows all the children songs and has incorporated the songs into teaching to make swimming fun and interesting. Although my daughter was so cautious and did not want to put her head into the water for a long time, André has always be patient and never forced her. Instead, he has been encouraging her and definitely has given her lots of reassurance. One day, suddenly, my daughter decided to put her head into the water. André gave her a lot of praise and encouragement that have made my daughter feel extremely proud of herself. Since then things have changed completely. I can see that she is progressing very quickly and becoming more and more confident with swimming. She has achieved Stage 2 comfortably after learning swimming for 3 terms, and now she is a very confident swimmer. I am so grateful for André’s effort and everything he has done to help my daughter overcome her fear and become a swim lover. André is very dedicated and extremely hard working. I truly believe that there is no children who cannot be good at swimming if they have a teacher like André. We can’t recommend André highly enough. He is a truly wonderful teacher!

patience, commitment and huge enthusiasm
André has been teaching both of our sons and we have been extremely happy with his style of teaching, patience, commitment and huge enthusiasm! He now teaches our 5-year old son who has weakness on the right side of his body after a stroke at birth, and it is just unbelievable how our son is progressing under André’s kind, fun, professional and enthusiastic guidance! Our son calls him the best swimming coach in the world and looks forward to seeing André every week. In the pool, our son works hard but loves every second of it and it is a joy to see how much he trusts and admires André. Due to André, he has made such amazing progress! André combines incredible skill and knowledge with a true understanding of how children learn best and we could not recommend him more! We are hoping to get our 3-year old to learn swimming with him soon as we are !00% convinced that she will be in the very best hands!
